Ingredients
  

For the tart crust and filling
  • 1 each pre-made tart crust
  • 3 each ripe pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • to taste each sliced almonds for garnish optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, granulated sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Spread the almond mixture evenly over the pre-made tart crust.
  4. Arrange the sliced pears on top of the almond filling.
  5. Sprinkle sliced almonds over the pears for extra crunch if desired.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature, possibly with whipped cream or ice cream. Garnishing with fresh mint leaves can add a pop of color.
